Australia's Groom leads Hong Kong Open

HONG KONG, Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Adam Groom of Australia shot a 6-under-par 64 Thursday for a one-shot lead after the first round of the Hong Kong Open.

Defending champion Padraig Harrington, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Charl Schwartzel and David Howell shared second place at 65.

The tournament is played at the Hong Kong Golf Club.
