MLB: Anaheim 9, Texas 5

ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 18 (UPI) -- The Anaheim Angels beat visiting Texas Friday behind big hitting by Vladimir Guerrero, who nailed a pair of homers in the 9-5 win.

In addition Guerrero also had three hits and drove in three runs.

Bartolo Colon (16-11) worked seven solid innings to get the win. The righthander gave up three runs on three hits and two walks, while fanning seven. Colon has won three straight and 11 of his last 14 starts.

Texas used a Hank Blalock solo homer and a two-run shot by Mark Teixeira in the first inning to grab a three-run lead.
