NFL: Philadelphia 31, NY Giants 17

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Donovan McNabb threw four touchdown passes, including three to Terrell Owens, to lead Philadelphia to a 31-17 victory Sunday over the New York Giants.

Owens, playing in his first regular season game for the Eagles, had eight catches for 68 yards. McNabb completed 26-of-36 passes for 330 yards.

L.J. Smith added a reception for a touchdown for the Eagles, who beat the Giants for the sixth time in the last seven meetings. Brian Westbrook rushed 17 times for 119 yards in the win.

New York's Tike Barber raced 72 yards for a score late in the fourth quarter with the game already out of reach. Barber finished with 125 yards on just nine carries. Ron Dayne rushed for 45 yards with a touchdown on 13 carries for the Giants.

Kurt Warner, a two-time NFL MVP, completed 16-of-28 passes for 203 yards in his first regular season game for New York.
