MILWAUKEE, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Scott Podsednik contributed to a 17-hit attack with a career-high four Friday night as Milwaukee bashed Cincinnati, 11-4.
Wes Helms and Geoff Jenkins both had three hits and three RBI, helping the Brewers win their third game in four tries after a 12-game losing streak.

Wes Obermueller (5-7) gave up four runs in six innings, but still got the win. The loss went to Brandon Claussen (2-4), who gave up eight runs in 1 1/3.
Milwaukee scored five times in the first inning with Jenkins delivering a two-run double and Helms a two-run homer.
