MLB: Chi. White Sox 3, Tampa Bay 2 (10)

CHICAGO, April 23 (UPI) -- Joe Crede's bases loaded sacrifice fly scored Magglio Ordonez in the 10th inning Friday night to give the Chicago White Sox a 3-2 win over Tampa Bay.

Chicago produced the winning run without a hit. Shortstop Julio Lugo booted a grounder by Ordonez to start the 10th. After striking out Kelly Dransfeldt, Danys Baez (1-1) balked Ordonez into scoring position.

Carlos Lee was intentionally walked before Baez bounced a pitch in the dirt that moved Ordonez to third base. Two batters later, Crede's fly ball gave the White Sox their second straight win.

Billy Koch (1-0) got the victory with a scoreless 10th.

Chicago tied it in the seventh with another assist from Lugo. Tampa Bay catcher Toby Hall appeared to have picked off Aaron Rowand at second base, but Lugo's throw to third base sailed into the dugout, allowing Rowand to score.

The Devil Rays' sloppiness cost starter Victor Zambrano a chance to become baseball's first four-game winner. He went 6 2/3 innings, yielding two runs and five hits.
