NHL: Phoenix 3, Nashville 3 (OT)

NASHVILLE, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Scott Walker had his second career hat trick for Nashville, but Shane Doan scored with 11:20 left in the third period Monday to give Phoenix a 3-3 tie.

Walker talied twice in the second period to complete his first hat trick since Dec. 26, 2002. He put in a rebound of Jeremy Stevenson's shot with 45 seconds remaining to put the Predators in front, 3-2.

Doan earned a point for Phoenix when he got a rebound of Cae Hulse's shot and pushed it past goatender Tomas Vokoun for his 14th goal. The Coyotes' captain has scored in three straight games and has seven goals in his last 12.

Brian Boucher stopped 28 shots for Phoenix, which is winless in its last five games.

Vokoun made 24 saves in his 30th start of the season.
