NBA: Memphis 110, New Jersey 63

MEMPHIS, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Bonzi Wells scored 22 points on 10-of-14 shooting in a 110-63 blowout Saturday as Memphis handed New Jersey its third-worst NBA defeat.

Stromile Swift and Mike Miller each added 18 points as Memphis bounced back from Friday's 91-88 loss to Miami. The Grizzlies' previous largest margin of victory was a 124-92 win over Atlanta on March 16.

New Jersey's previous worst defeat since entering the NBA in 1976 was a 139-87 setback to Houston on Oct. 10, 1978.

Kenyon Martin scored 12 points while Jason Kidd and Aaron Williams each added 10 for the shorthanded Nets.

New Jersey played without starting center Jason Collins, who suffered a sprained left ankle in Friday's win over Orlando.

Richard Jefferson and Lucious Harris also suffered injuries as the Nets had their season-high four-game winning streak snapped. The Nets managed just 10 points in final period.
