Tampa Bay 7, Cleveland 4 (13 innings)

CLEVELAND, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Carl Crawford had a go-ahead two-run single in the top of the 13th inning Monday as the Tampa Bay Devil Rays outlasted the Cleveland Indians, 7-4.

Damian Rolls began the 13th with a single against Terry Mulholland (3-3) and advanced to third on a double by Toby Hall.

Jason Tyner walked to load the bases before Marlon Anderson grounded into a force play at home. Crawford then singled to center to score Al Martin and Tyner.

Julio Lugo, who earlier hit a pair of solo homers, capped the three-run burst with a sacrifice fly.

Lance Carter (7-3) yielded one run and one hit in 3 2/3 innings for the win.

Tampa Bay took a 4-3 lead in the top of the 11th on a single by Anderson before Cleveland tied it in the bottom of the frame on a flyout by Casey Blake.
