Dallas 34, Houston 6

IRVING, Texas, Aug. 15 (UPI) -- Quincy Carter passed for 141 yards and a touchdown Friday night as the Dallas Cowboys rolled over Houston, 34-6.

Carter completed 10 of 17 passes while playing the entire first half. He hit Antonio Bryant with a 30-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter to give Dallas a 14-3 lead.

Rookie Tony Romo followed Carter and tossed a 60-yard touchdown pass to Randal Williams in the third quarter.

David Carr played the first half for the Texans and went 12 of 16 for 96 yards. First-round pick Andre Johnson had two catches for 13 yards.
