San Antonio 93, New Jersey 83

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., June 13 (UPI) -- Tim Duncan scored 29 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to lead San Antonio to a 93-83 win over New Jersey Friday in the NBA championship series.

The Spurs now lead three games to two and can win the title at home on Sunday.

Duncan also had 17 rebounds and four blocks.

Thirty-seven-year-old reserve guard Steve Kerr, who is expected to retire after the season, helped blunt a late surge by the Nets with a steal and two jump shots, one a 3-pointer.

Jason Kidd had 29 points and Richard Jefferson 19 for the Nets.
