San Jose 5; Calgary 2

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Teemu Selanne had a pair of third-period goals Monday night and Evgeni Nabokov made 32 saves as San Jose dumped Calgary, 5-2.

With the victory, the Sharks continued their dominance of the Calgary Flames. San Jose is 8-2-3-1 in the last 14 games against between the two teams.

Selanne scored his 24th and 25th goals in a 12-minute span of the third period as San Jose scored three times to break open a 2-0 game.

Selanne has 56 points in 40 career games against the Flames.

The Sharks were just 2-7 in their previous nine games overall, but put together a complete effort against Calgary. Nabokov carried a shutout into the final five minutes, and Matt Bradley, Owen Nolan, and Vincent Damphousse scored for San Jose.

Dave Lowry and Scott Nichol had late goals for Calgary, which is 1-7-2 in its last 10 contests.
