Cincinnati 4, San Francisco 3

CINCINNATI, April 26 (UPI) -- Todd Walker's two-out single in the bottom of the eighth inning scored Aaron Boone Friday night as the Cincinnati Reds rallied to win their sixth straight game, a 4-3 triumph over the San Francisco Giants.

After San Francisco scored twice in the top of the eighth off Scott Sullivan (3-0) to take a 3-2 lead, Giants setup man Felix Rodriguez (0-2) got Juan Encarnacion to fly out and Sean Casey to ground out.

But Adam Dunn stroked a single to right, Boone doubled to deep left center to tie the contest and Walker ripped a base hit into right field to regain the lead.

It was just the seventh time in his last 90 appearances that Rodriguez had allowed a run.

Danny Graves intentionally walked Barry Bonds with two outs and nobody on base in the ninth before getting Jeff Kent to pop out to Walker in shallow right to end the game. It was Graves' ninth save of the season.

The Reds took a 2-0 lead in the second on a two-run homer by Austin Kearns, his second homer of the season.

San Francisco halved its deficit in the sixth on a home run by Rich Aurilia off Reds starter Elmer Dessens.

The Giants briefly took the lead in the eighth on run-scoring singles by J.T. Snow and pinch-hitter Damon Minor off Sullivan, who had allowed just one earned run in his previous 14 2/3 innings this season.

Snow's single snapped the Giants' none-for-18 hitless streak with runners in scoring position.
