Kansas 86, Texas A&M 74

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Drew Gooden produced his 15th double-double of the season Saturday with 22 points and 13 rebounds, carrying No. 2 Kansas past Texas A&M, 86-74.

Gooden's 22 points gave him 1,184 in his career and moved him past Milt Newton into 26th place on the school's all-time list. His 13 rebounds gave him 707, a plateau just 10 other Jayhawks have reached.

Nick Collison added 19 points and eight rebounds for Kansas (17-2, 6-0 Big 12). The Jayhawks have won four straight games and are off to a 17-2 start for the second consecutive season.

Bernard King had 22 points for Texas A&M (8-12, 2-4), which fell to 0-7 all time against Kansas.
