NETANYA, Israel, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- The Israeli Defense Ministry has contracted RADA Electronic Industries to deliver its digital video recorder technologies to the Israeli air force.
Israel-based RADA announced it has been awarded a $3.6 million follow-on contract to deliver its new Video Management System, a next generation of its Digital Video Recorder airborne video and data management technology, for use by the Israeli air force.
RADA, a developer of data recorders, inertial navigation and other avionic solutions, says it will complete the delivery of its Video Management System by the end of 2010.
"This follow-on production order proves the confidence of the Israel air force in RADA's advanced solutions to airborne video and data management," Zvi Alon, RADA chief executive officer, said in a statement.
"We are confident that other air forces worldwide will follow the Israel air force and enhance the sales potential of this advanced system."
