During the testing, Textron says its XM1100 Scorpion technology successfully demonstrated situational awareness, command and control, and target engagement capabilities in both urban and open terrain settings passing the Army's exit criteria for the review.

"Our team has worked diligently toward this critical design review with a single goal in mind, getting this technology into the hands of America's warfighters," Mark Catizone Textron Defense Systems senior vice president and general manager, said in a statement.
