Calibre to compete for mission task orders

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Calibre has been selected by the U.S. Office of the Secretary of Defense, along with four other companies, to compete for mission support service task orders.

Calibre was selected to participate in a blanket purchase agreement awarded by the Office of the Secretary of Defense Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition & Procurement Office.

As part of the agreement, Calibre will compete with four other firms to receive information technology, research and analysis task orders, among other services required by the Office of the Secretary of Defense Washington.

Officials say the blanket purchase agreement is worth $100 million in task orders.

"This blanket purchase agreement will enable Calibre to continue to support the Department of Defense in meeting mission requirements," Jim Sutton, Calibre director of information technology policy and planning, said in a statement.
