New face in CIA press office

WASHINGTON, April 3 (UPI) -- There's a new face in the media relations team at the biggest U.S. espionage agency, the CIA said Monday.

Public Affairs Director Mark Mansfield announced in a note to reporters that George E. Little had joined the agency as a spokesman, following a two year stint at the National Counter-Terrorism Center, "where he played an instrumental role in U.S. Government-wide counter-terrorism planning efforts."

Prior to joining the center, he was a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and IBM. He holds a Ph.D in International Relations from Georgetown University and Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Virginia.

"As I'm sure you'll discover," wrote Mansfield, "George is smart, resourceful, and has a good sense of humor -- prerequisites for public affairs work here at CIA."
