'Get Lucky' remix: Barack Obama 'covers' Daft Punk's summer smash

By KATE STANTON, UPI.com   |   June 24, 2013 at 7:44 PM   |   Comments

June 24 (UPI) -- "Get Lucky," Daft Punk's ubiquitous summer jam, seems to be following in the footsteps of last summer's Carly Rae Jepsen earworm, "Call Me Maybe." The French electronic duo's groovy dance hit is piling up remixes and covers, from this violin performance to "Get Lucky" through the decades.

Baracksdubs, the same people who made Barack Obama sing "Call Me Maybe" last year, have performed their mixology magic with Daft Punk, splicing the president's words into a "Get Lucky" mashup.
