Channing Tatum welcomed a baby girl with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum on May 31 in London, where the 33-year-old actor was filming. Nearly a month later, the 33-year-old dad shared some friendly parenting advice with Extra cameras while promoting his action flick, "White House Down."
"I'll give you some baby advice, you’re not going to do anything for the first six months," he said. "You’re just like, can I have the baby at some point today?"
And you’re never going to be so excited when something poos, cause it’s like, 'Aw yeah, I’m in the game!' Let me have it, give it to me,' And then you give it back to her cause you know you don’t really do very much.
Jamie Foxx, who has two teenage daughters of his own, piped in with some wisdom of his own.
“All of the stuff that your parents did to you, you’re doing to try and it’s not going to work," the 45-year-old actor said. "You be the father and you be the friend. You keep the doors open so they can come talk to you.”
