Sept. 13 (UPI) -- An Ohio woman is searching for her pet mini pig that was stolen from her home during a break-in on Monday.

Valerie Couch shared a photo of Spam, the 15-pound pet pig, that was taken from her Cleveland home during the robbery.

"The worst part is they took our pet mini pig," she wrote. "If anyone sees him can you please let me know."

Couch told WOIO a tablet and some other electronic equipment were also stolen during the robbery.

Neighbors told Couch they saw a tall black man in a gray hoodie driving a black Toyota with tinted windows driving away from the scene.

Couch told WEWS she owned the 1-year-old mini pig since it was a piglet and was devastated by the theft.

"It's just sad somebody would do this," she said. "My guess is they just want to sell him and make some money. But you know, he's part of our family. Keep the electronics, but don't take somebody's pet."

Couch's dog and cat were left safe in the house and she is hoping that her public call on social media will result in the pig's return.

"He's a spitfire, so he's probably driving somebody crazy right now," she said. "So just bring him back to his home where we can take care of him the right way."
