Truck crash covers highway in hundreds of watermelons

July 7 (UPI) -- A crash between two trucks on a Chinese highway led to the road being covered in the sticky remains of hundreds of burst watermelons.

A video filmed at the scene of the Sunday crash in Chuzhou, Anhui Province, shows the road littered with crushed watermelons after the truck carrying the fruit was rear-ended by a semi hauling a load of air conditioners.

There were no injuries in the crash, but the road ended up looking like the aftermath of a Gallagher routine.

Police said it took three hours to clean up the mess.
