NEW YORK, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- A one-handed New York-area teacher and cosplayer is adding "cyborg" to her list of titles after being fitted with a bionic arm.

Caitlin Michelle posted a video to YouTube showing her testing out the BeBionic hand built for her by Prosthetics In Motion.

The video shows Michelle using muscles in her arm, which extends only a few inches past her elbow, to make the hand open and close.

"To open, I use the muscle that you feel moving when you flip someone the bird. And to close, I use the muscle that allows you to move your wrist toward your body," Michelle wrote in the video's description.

Michelle described the video as showing "what a cyborg looks like IRL."
