NEW YORK, July 26 (UPI) -- A man taking video of a thunderstorm in New York captured the moment a bolt of lightning scored a direct hit on the Empire State Building.

Henrik Moltke posted a video to YouTube showing the storm he filmed Monday evening over the New York City skyline.

The video shows a bolt of lightning directly strike the Empire State Building.

"I got that!" Moltke says after the strike.

The Empire State Building's official website says the structure gets struck by lightning about 23 times a year.
