BAN KHLONG NUNG, Thailand, July 13 (UPI) -- A massive monitor lizard walked through the entrance of a grocery store in Thailand, scaring customers into turning around and leaving.

A video posted to Facebook by user Ipsy Ipsy shows the large lizard standing just inside the automatic doors of the store and frightening customers who try to enter before spotting the animal and changing their minds.

Some young men attempt to use cardboard signs to usher the lizard out of the store, but it fights back against the signs, hitting them with its tail and biting them.

The group of customers are eventually successful in using the large signs to push the monitor lizard through the automatic doors and into the parking lot.

The exact location of the store was unclear, but video was tagged as being filmed in Ban Khlong Nung, Pathum Thani.
