Heather Sperling said she was on her porch Wednesday morning when she turned around to see the black bear peering over her fence. Advertisement Sperling snapped a photo of the unusual visitor from inside her home and posted it to Facebook. "Oh my gosh, really. I wasn't scared, I felt safe inside my home and I was just surprised to actually see him in the morning in the daylight like that," she told WTKR-TV. Sperling said the bear was apparently after some peanuts in a feeder hanging from the fence. She posted a video to Facebook showing the bear leaving after getting what it was after. "I know really they're more scared of us than we are of them. They're not here to hurt people, they're here just for food," she said.
