STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo., June 10 (UPI) -- A Colorado man shared video of an unaware bear attempting to raid a trash can outside of a business while failing to notice an open box filled with watermelons.

Dillon Folk posted a video to Facebook Sunday morning showing the overnight appearance of a bear outside of the City Market store in Steamboat Springs.

Folk films through a window as the bear kicks over a trash can and apparently fails to notice a large box filled with watermelons right next to the garbage container.

The man knocks on the window in an attempt to scare the bear away, but the animal is focused on feeding from the trash.

Folk said the bear did eventually notice the melons.

"So after this video, I walked away to go get someone. When I came back, the bear was just about to grab a melon but then saw me and ran away," he wrote.
