SPOKANE, Wash., May 27 (UPI) -- A Washington man who had two felony warrants out for his arrest allegedly mooned officers from the Spokane Police Department during a lengthy standoff at his home.

Prior to realizing that William Wilson was a wanted felon, police were investigating the former medical marijuana dispensary employee for trying to throw a stink bomb inside the window of the business.

During the course of their investigation, SPD officers realized that Wilson was wanted for felony harassment (threats to kill) and first degree theft.

When police arrived at the 34-year-old's home, he "began yelling obscenities at them and refused to come out." A SWAT team was called in, but Wilson eventually let himself be taken into custody after an hour and a half. At some point during the incident, Wilson allegedly mooned the officers.

"I think they were being more sarcastic than anything," Wilson told KREM 2 News. "I had no shirt on, and they were making, I did go outside and reveal my buttocks to them, which I shouldn't have done, but I was upset."

In addition to the felony charges, Wilson was booked on a new charge of city malicious mischief.
