PORTLAND, Ore., May 27 (UPI) -- The next time an Oregon man picks up a violin, it may be to the play the blues...

A 25-year-old man who told police his name was Matthew Mglej was arrested for indecent exposure after police received multiple complaints about him playing violin in the nude outside a federal courthouse in Portland.

Portland Police spokesman Sgt. Pete Simpson said in a press release that Mglej was arrested after he failed to listen to several warnings outside the Mark O. Hatfield Courthouse.

Mglej refused to enter the squad car himself, so officers had to carry him into the vehicle, The Oregonian reported.

Portland city code declares it "unlawful for any person to expose his or her genitalia while in a public place or place visible from a public place, if the public place is open or available to persons of the opposite sex."
