While she was reporting on the story, KSDK-TV reporter Elizabeth Matthews grabbed a handful of the human-produced fertilizer and smelled it. Matthews posted on Twitter that the poop was treated. @ElizabethKSDK I'm sure you washed your hands several times after the shoot. The station owes you a bonus!— The Leong (@theleong) May 13, 2014 Farmer Shane Reinneck gets the waste from a treatment plant and admits that it smells, but he plans to keep using it. "As long as there are humans and as long as you are eating and as long as you are doing the deed, as long as they are going to make it I am going to haul it," Reinneck said.
