SANTA ANA, Calif., May 29 (UPI) -- This year's batch of new frozen treats includes an ice cream "Brrrger" being tested by Carl's Jr. in California.

The "Brrrger," which the fast food restaurant is testing in Orange County, Calif., is made to resemble a burger by sandwiching chocolate ice cream between two sugar cookies with food coloring made to resemble ketchup and mustard, USA Today reported Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Georgia-based chain Marble Slab is selling "Sushi Cupcakes," which are made from ice cream and topped with Swedish Fish candy to evoke the Japanese food made from raw fish.

Dairy Queen said its latest Blizzard flavor, "Candy Shop," is due out in July and will include chocolates filled with hazelnut cream, fudge and caramel blended together with the ice cream store's dark cocoa fudge and vanilla soft serve ice cream.
