Logan Batlle, 25, enlisted the help of anchors George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts for his proposal to girlfriend Leeta Britton, 25, for the morning show's new "Live Love" segment, the Fort Worth (Texas) Star-Telegram reported Wednesday.

Britton, a teacher at Heritage Middle School in Colleyville, arrived early for work, believing she was to be interviewed by "GMA" about the school's girls' soccer team, which she coaches. However, during the interview, Roberts told Britton to look behind her, where her players were holding up placards spelling out "Will You Marry Me?"

Batlle then emerged with a ring box and knelt down next to Britton.

"I want to tell you that I love you more than anything in the world," Batlle said. "You're the most beautiful girl. And I know you wanted coffee this morning, but I think I got you something better."

Britton accepted the proposal.

"You are so crazy," she told Batlle.

Pittsburgh Zoo seeks to alligator

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Pittsburgh Zoo workers said they are attempting to trap an alligator spotted in the Beaver Run Reservoir, but they have yet to encounter the reptile.

Henry Kacprzyk, curator of reptiles at the zoo, said he and other workers searched the area Tuesday for the alligator, which witnesses estimated to be about 5 feet long, but they were unable to find any sign of the animal, which is believed to be an abandoned pet, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Wednesday.

Kacprzyk said a wire trap will be placed near the shore of the reservoir in an attempt to snare the gator.

"I'm confident we'll be able to trap it," he said.

The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County had originally planned to allow the alligator to succumb to dropping temperatures in the coming weeks, but reversed course after protests from members of the public.

The sender said she was selling "bones," a street term for the prescription anti-anxiety drug Xanax, and Alkire arranged to purchase 10 of the pills at Nebo Truck Stop.

The deputy arrived for the sale and found the car described by the seller. The passenger in the car, Amy Leigh Brown, 35, was arrested and charged with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule IV controlled substance.

Investigators said Brown was carrying 25 generic Xanax pills.
