MUSIC AND MORE AND THE WHEEL GOES ROUND Advertisement Pat Sajak and Vanna White will bring the Wheel of Fortune to the Grand Ole Opry house in January. Country music stars will be paired with fans for the event. Anyone wanting to try out for the show can do so during Fan Fair, June 14 and 15. Sajak, who started his television career in Nashville, says: "Vanna and I can't wait to bring the Wheel to Nashville." However he won't be around for Fan Fair. "I wish we could be there ... but the contestant staff doesn't like it when Vanna and I yell out the answers during the auditions," he says. LAWSON SINGS FOR FILM 'JOSHUA' Newcomer Shannon Lawson has record his song "Bad, Bad, Bad" for the film "Joshua." The movie, starring Tony Goldwyn (Ghost) is scheduled for limited release. It is based on a series of religious-themed books by Joseph Girzone. NEW FROM LARI WHITE Recording artist Lari White shows off her new musical direction and her new album "Green Eyed Soul" this Saturday at Nashville's hipster hangout Slow Bar. In the liner notes, White credits soul star Al Green and feminist author Naomi Wolf for her radical overhaul that will remind listeners of Shelby Lynne's transition from country to pop and rock. The album is available from White's Web site, lariwhite.com, and features Billy Dean (comically billed as Varry White) and gospel favorite Bebe Winans singing harmony. Advertisement JOE DEE MAKES A PIT STOP Jo Dee Messina was at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway earlier this week filming a video for her new single "Dare to Dream," with the aid of NASCAR driver Bobby Hamilton and his No. 55 Schneider Electric car. The video shows Messina getting a "tune up" of wardrobe and makeover by a pit crew dressed in JDM jumpsuits. Messina says the song, which is on her album "Burn" as well as a NASCAR-themed collection "Inside Traxx," is "a song we love to do live. It's high-energy and it's fun. And it's also a very positive message, one that I feel very strongly about."
