May 12 (UPI) -- Goldie Hawn confirmed Thursday that Kate Hudson dated singer Nick Jonas. The 71-year-old actress discussed her daughter's fling with Jonas during an appearance with Snatched co-star Amy Schumer on Watch What Happens Live.

"You know what? Let me tell you something. As long as the kids are having fun, I don't care," Hudson told host Andy Cohen.
"He's a very nice guy. He's a good person," she said of Jonas before confessing the romance was short-lived. "I would have [made dinner for him] if it had lasted long enough."
Hudson, 38, and Jonas, 24, were first linked in the fall of 2015. The singer insisted in the February/March 2016 issue of Complex that he was single, but gushed about Hudson in the interview.
"Kate's incredible," he told the magazine. "We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that's beautiful."
"Out of my best effort to respect her and her privacy, I'm not going to say if we had sex or not," the star said. "But we did have a beautiful connection. Even now I have so much admiration and respect. She's amazing."
Hudson has since started dating Danny Fujikawa, and made her red carpet debut as a couple with the musician Wednesday at the Los Angeles premiere of Snatched. The actress shares 13-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson and 5-year-old son Bingham with ex-fiancé Matthew Bellamy.
