Hoda Kotb to return to 'Today' on Monday

The television personality has been on maternity leave with daughter Haley Joy.

April 13 (UPI) -- New mom Hoda Kotb will return to Today next week.

The 52-year-old television personality will be back at work Monday after adopting daughter Haley Joy in February.

"Hoda is back with a brand new baby," NBC said in a promo Thursday. "And now you'll be seeing more of Hoda every morning with Matt and Savannah. Join us as we welcome her back Monday."

Kotb called Haley "the love of my life" while announcing the infant's adoption Feb. 21 on Today. She shared a photos of her daughter surrounded by family during her last week of maternity leave Wednesday on Instagram.

Kotb has introduced Haley to co-hosts Matt Lauer and Kathie Lee Gifford, with whom she celebrated her ninth anniversary as co-anchors last week. Gifford was moved to tears in February after learning of Kotb's baby news.

"Everybody loves you," she told Kotb. "You have so much to give to other people and we're so happy to see something so wonderful happen you you because you deserve it."
