Craig Robinson to play recurring role on Season 2 of 'Mr. Robot'

NEW YORK, March 7 (UPI) -- Craig Robinson has joined the Season 2 cast of the hacker thriller Mr. Robot as a recurring guest star, USA Network announced Monday.

The Office alum will play Ray, "a neighborhood local who reaches out to Elliot in his time of need," the network said in a press release.

Previously announced guest stars include Joey Bada$$ and Chris Conroy.

Returning for the 10-episode second season will be Rami Malek as Elliot and Christian Slater as Mr. Robot.

Production on Season 2 began Monday in New York City. The fresh episodes are to begin airing this summer.
