Wes Bentley to star on 'American Horror Story: Hotel'

The actor joins Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson.

LOS ANGELES, March 17 (UPI) -- Wes Bentley has joined the cast of American Horror Story: Hotel.

Series co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed the news Tuesday on Twitter, writing, "Thrilled to announce Wes Bentley will be a series regular on AHS: Hotel."

Bentley will star alongside Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson. Jessica Lange, who appeared on the FX program's first four seasons, will not return for season five.

Bentley portrayed Edward Mordrake on season four, American Horror Story: Freak Show. The 36-year-old actor is also known for American Beauty and The Hunger Games, and scheduled for Knight of Cups with Christian Bale and We Are Your Friends with Zac Efron.
