Producer Allan McKeown dead at 67

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Producer Allan McKeown, husband of comic actress Tracey Ullman, has died of prostate cancer at his home in Los Angeles, The Hollywood Reporter said Thursday.

The British-born former hairdresser was 67 when he died Tuesday.

McKeown co-created the TV shows "Tracey Takes On..." and "State of the Union" with his wife, and together they won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Musical Comedy Series in 1997.

As a hairdresser he worked with The Beatles, Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and Michael Caine, among others, THR said.
