LOS ANGELES, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Kanye West is to be a guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" more than a week after Kimmel mocked the rapper in a viral video, ABC announced Tuesday.

West is to appear on Wednesday's edition of the program.

The hip-hop star went on a Twitter rant after Kimmel poked fun of his self-aggrandizing September interview with the BBC.

West told the British broadcaster he was the biggest rock star on the planet and also listed his numerous other accomplishments.

Kimmel joked about West's lack of humility and played on "Live!" a video showing two children acting out the transcript of the BBC interview to hilarious effect.

However, West apparently didn't think the skit was funny.

"JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES ... OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD [expletive] IN YOUR LIFE..." West tweeted.

"YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY ... IS THAT FUNNY? ... OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???" West continued. "SHOULD I DO A SPOOF ABOUT YOUR FACE OR YOU [expletive] BEN AFFLECK...#NODISRESPECTTOBENAFFLECK #ALLDISRESPECTTOJIMMYKIMMEL!!!!"
