NEW YORK, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Tina Fey and Miley Cyrus are to serve as guest hosts on "Saturday Night Live" in New York this fall, NBC announced Monday.

Fey, a former "SNL" cast member and head writer, is to appear on the Sept. 28 episode when Arcade Fire will be the musical guest.

Cyrus is to serve as both host and musical act on the Oct. 5 edition of the sketch comedy program, and Bruce Willis will be the host and Katy Perry the musical guest on the Oct. 12 program.

"SNL" is starting off its 39th season with longtime stars Seth Meyers and Kenan Thompson leading an ensemble of relative newcomers after the departures of veterans Jason Sudeikis, Bill Heder and Fred Armisen.
