BRANSON, Mo., Sept. 26 (UPI) -- "Moon River" and "Can't Get Used to Losing You" singer Andy Williams has died at his home in Branson, Mo., after a battle with bladder cancer, his family said.
He was 84.

Williams started his career singing in a church choir with his older siblings Bob, Dick and Don. They toured together as the Williams Brothers quartet in the 1930s and frequently performed on the radio.
When the family act broke up in 1952, Andy Williams started his solo career, appearing at New York nightclubs and singing on TV's "The Tonight Show." He headlined "The Andy Williams Show" on NBC from 1962 until 1971 and starred in numerous television Christmas specials.
An entertainer for 75 years, the Iowa native is survived by his second wife Debbie and his three children -- Robert, Noelle and Christian with French dancer Claudine Longet to whom he was married from 1961 to 1975, People.com noted.
