LOS ANGELES, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- "Community" co-stars Joel McHale and Ken Jeong have taped a parody of a scene from Sarah Michelle Gellar's new U.S. thriller series "Ringer."

The spoof is to air on Friday's edition of McHale's "The Soup," an E! reality program that mocks the entertainment world.

"Host Joel McHale and special guest Ken Jeong take on Sarah Michelle Gellar's roles as two identical twin sisters who talk about … something dramatic … while they bob around in a motorboat in the middle of a green-screen ocean with a wind machine blowing their flowing locks," the cable network said in a news release. "Check out a sneak peek of McHale and his doppelganger Jeong as they step into the slayer's shoes and battle their own cheesy special effects."

A preview of the segment is posted on YouTube.

Gellar's new show debuted this week. She previously starred in the iconic series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
