In the show, Johnston plays Holly, a divorce attorney, who introduces her newly-single client Stuart, played by Basche, to his new roommates -- ladies' man Phil, played by Faison, and homebody Haskell, played by Knight -- who share an apartment Holly owns.

"We are so excited to start production on this sitcom," Larry W. Jones, president of TV Land, said in a statement. "The comedic talent in this show is a stellar addition to our network as we encourage viewers to 'laugh more.'"

Keith Cox, executive vice president of development and original programming for TV Land, added: "We couldn't ask for anything better than having [producer] Mark Reisman on board, a great team of writers and an amazing and hilarious group of actors. We hit the jackpot."
