"All my feelings on fire... #BadLiar is out now," she captioned a clip on Twitter.

"Bad Liar" features Gomez's stripped-down vocals and the bass line from the Talking Heads hit "Psycho Killer." Co-writer Justin Tranter denied the song, which features the lyrics "Oh tryin', I'm tryin', I'm tryin'/ I'm tryin', I'm tryin'/Not to think about you," is about an ex-partner.

"It's actually about trying to hide magic feelings for someone new, but not being able to," he tweeted.

The music video, which is available on Spotify, shows Gomez writhing on a bed with her hands tied. The singer raised concern Wednesday after she shared an image from the shoot of herself wearing a hospital bracelet and a bandage on her wrist.

"Selena came straight from the hospital to this shoot -- from being there for lupus," photographer Petra Collins told fans on Instagram, according to E! News.
