LONDON, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Ed Sheeran was a guest on Capital FM when a caller requested he cover The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

"I have two loves-- both you and the TV sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air," she said. "It would make my life if you could possibly bring the two together and sing the Fresh Prince intro bit for me. Thanks."

The 25-year-old hesitated, but then gave the fan what she wanted to hear.

In the same interview, the "Thinking Out Loud" singer also confirmed that he will appear on James Corden's late night skit, Carpool Karaoke.

"I've been in touch with James Corden about this for three years because he wanted me to do the first one, and I just wasn't around. I can confirm that at some point this year I will be doing Carpool Karaoke," he said.

Sheeran doesn't just want to do his own hits with Corden -- he said he is hoping to cover a Notorious B.I.G. song.

"I know the whole thing is singing to your tune, but I think I'd feel a bit awkward singing to my song. I think I just want to put on some Biggie," he said.

"I want to put on something really awkward and dirty, like Biggie's song 'Big Booty Hoes.'"

Sheeran recently came back from a year hiatus and released two new songs -- "Castle on the Hill" and "Shape of You."
