LAS VEGAS, May 23 (UPI) -- Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani brought their romance to the 2016 Billboard Music Awards.

"Go Ahead and Break My Heart" appears on Shelton's 10th studio album, If I'm Honest, which was released Friday. The couple performed the song live for the first time on the May 9 episode of The Voice.

"[The duet] is very personal for us both because, you know, we obviously have this bond that is remarkable together," Shelton previously told Entertainment Tonight.

Shelton and Stefani confirmed their relationship in November after splitting from their respective spouses, Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale, in previous months. The couple met as coaches on The Voice in 2014.

"We could not be, on paper, any more different," Shelton told the Today show last week. "It's just an odd idea, but man, it's a lot of fun. I've gotta be honest about that."
