Lucy Hale, Rascal Flatts cover 'Frozen' hit 'Let It Go'

"Frozen" opened in theaters in November 2013, and will receive a sequel.

ANAHEIM, Calif., Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Lucy Hale and Rascal Flatts released their cover of Frozen hit "Let It Go" on Thursday.

The 26-year-old actress and Nashville-based country group debuted the song on On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Hale and Rascal Flatts recorded the duet for the forthcoming We Love Disney album.

"Wow. Overwhelmed by all the love today for 'Let It Go.' Thanks for the kind words!" the actress tweeted. "Thanks @OnAirWithRyan for premiering me & @rascalflatts version of 'Let It Go.'"

Idina Menzel voiced Queen Elsa in Frozen, and recorded the original "Let It Go" for the animated Disney movie. The track sold nearly 11 million copies in 2014, and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song the same year.

We Love Disney is scheduled for release Oct. 30. Hale is best known for playing Aria Montgomery on ABC Family series Pretty Little Liars, and released her debut album, Road Between, in June 2014. Rascal Flatts last released Rewind in May 2014.
