Streisand to perform at Grammys

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Barbra Streisand is to perform live on the 53rd annual Grammy Awards show in Los Angeles, The Recording Academy said Tuesday.

Streisand is an eight-time Grammy winner, current Grammy nominee and 2011 MusiCares Person of the Year.

Actor and singer Kris Kristofferson has been booked to introduce Streisand's performance at Sunday's prize presentation for music at the Staples Center.

Pop singer/actress Miley Cyrus, actor Neil Patrick Harris, singer John Legend, the band Paramore and actor Seth Rogen have been added as presenters for the event, as well, the academy said.

Streisand joins previously announced performers Arcade Fire, Eminem, Lady Antebellum, Lady Gaga, Miranda Lambert, Muse, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Usher, Jaden Smith, B.o.B, Bruno Mars, Janelle Monae, Drake, Rihanna, Cee Lo Green, Gwyneth Paltrow, the Jim Henson Company Puppets, Mick Jagger and Raphael Saadiq.
