LONDON, Jan. 1 (UPI) -- A bare-faced photo of pop singer Katy Perry posted to Twitter by her husband, British comic Russell Brand, was quickly removed, observers say.
The London tabloid, The Sun, described Perry as looking "pale, greasy and spotty" and not pleased to be photographed without makeup by her husband of less than three months.
Perry, 26, a native of California, and Brand, 35, married in October in Jaipur, India. They got engaged in that city on New Year's Eve, 2009.
In one recent number, "Teenage Dream," Perry sang "You think I'm pretty without makeup on." It appears she does not feel pretty enough to appear without makeup to millions of Twitter followers, the report said.
Brand and Perry between them have more than 6.8 million followers, most of them hers.
