LOS ANGELES, Aug. 27 (UPI) -- The previously home-schooled son and daughter of late pop star Michael Jackson are now attending an exclusive private school in California, sources told TMZ.

Thirteen-year-old Prince and 12-year-old Paris began at The Buckley School in the San Fernando Valley Wednesday. Past attendees of the school include Matthew Perry, Alyssa Milano, Nicole Richie, Nicollette Sheridan and Laura Dern.

TMZ cited unnamed family sources as saying Jackson's 8-year-old son Blanket will continue to be home-schooled this year because his grandmother, Katherine Jackson, feels he isn't ready yet.

The three children were rarely seen in public with their father.

Although they have been occasionally photographed since Jackson's death last year, the children and their nannies generally manage to keep a low profile.
