'Deadpool' is the No. 1 movie in North America with $135M

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Deadpool, an R-rated superhero movie starring Ryan Reynolds, is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $135 million at the box office this weekend, Rentrak said Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is Kung Fu Panda 3 with $19.7 million, followed by How to Be Single at No. 3 with $18.8 million, Zoolander 2 at No. 4 with $15.7 millionand The Revenant at No. 5 with $6.9 million.

Rounding out the top tier are Hail, Caesar! at No. 6 with $6.6 million, Star Wars: The Force Awakens at No. 6 with $6.2 million, The Choice at No. 7 with $5.3 million, Ride Along 2 at No. 9 with $4.1 million and The Boy at No. 10 with $2.9 million.
